Abstract
The research was conducted at north seaside of Teluk Lombok especially at (S. 070 14’ 11,1 E. 1120 47’ 43,8”). The aims of this research were to enable the universitym to knows and understands about the plankton therminology and classification, knows and understands standard method of plankton sample and analysis, knows and understands the differences between zooplankton and phytoplankton, and knows and can apply simple accounting of plankton profusion. The result of this research shows that the plankton composition at Teluk Lombok beach is consist of zooplankton and phytoplankton. The dominant species of zooplankton is from clases copepoda and the dominant species of phytoplankton is from class diatom (Bacillariophyceae).
