Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of guano fertilizer on the growth and yield of melon (Cucumis melo L). This research was conducted for 3 months starting from March to May 2020. The research location was in Sangatta Selatan District, East Kutai Regency. This research is a factorial experiment arranged in a randomized block design (RBD) at a level of 5 treatments with 5 replications. The treatment is D0 = No treatment; D1 = Treatment 10 tonnes / ha (1.5 kg/plot); D2 = Treatment 15 tonnes/ha (2.25 kg/plot); D3 = Treatment 20 tonnes / ha (3 kg / plot); D4 = Treatment 25 tonnes/ha (3.75 kg/plot). The results showed that treatment D4 showed the best results because it produced the best fruit diameter, fruit weight and production compared to other treatments, namely 17,428 cm, 2,260 Kg, and 62,790 tons / ha, respectively.
