Abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine the biogas produced from cow feces and to determine the raw material for biogas to produce the optimal content of methane gas (CH4). In this study, four treatments were given to each digester with several variations of the mixture between cow feces and water hyacinth with an anaerobic (airless) fermentation system. The experimental data analysis method used analysis of variance manova (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) using the SPSS version 15 application. The results showed that the optimum biogas pressure was 2.9 kPa and the temperature was between 35.1 0 C - 40.2 0 C in digester p4 and The biogas produced in each digester is p1 36.5 kPa/454.2 grams, p2 21.3 kPa/400.7 grams, p3 137.6 kPa 386.6 grams, and p4 39.9 kPa/496.5 grams. So it can be concluded thatthe composition treatment has a significant effect on the pressure and temperature in the digester, because the p4 digester produces the best methane (CH4) gas content.
