Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of identifying the types of Kelulut or Klanceng in the Karangan Hilir Village Area. This research was conducted within ± 6 months in the Karangan Hilir Village Area. The research was carried out using three methods, namely the purposive exploration method, which is an activity to find the object of research by exploring the research location, the description method, namely data collection in the field by describing the morphology of kelulut or klanceng and the identification method, namely the activity of taking and observing the parts of the kelulut or klanceng. The results of this study indicate that in the Karangan Hilir Village Area there are 8 types of kelulut or klanceng including Tetragonula fuscobalteata, Lophotrigona caniforn, Tetragonula melanochepala, Lepidotrigona terminata, Tetragonula iridipennis, Heterotrigona itama, Tetragonula sarawakensis, Tetragonula sp.
