Abstract

The research was conducted in a forest area in Karangan Village, East Kutai Regency with the aim of knowing the types of night primates and identifying what nocturnal primates exist in the forest area. This research was carried out for 6 months effective starting in September 2020. The method used in this study was the method of exploration, identification and description. Based on the results of field research, two types of nocturnal primates were found, namely the slow loris (Nicticebus borneanus) and the tarsier species (Tarcius bancanus borneanus).
