Abstract

This study aims to determine marketing and calculate costs, margins, marketing profits, farmers share and marketing efficiency of cayenne pepper in the village of Singa Geweh, South Sangatta District. This research was carried out for three months, from April to June 2021. The data collection methods used was the interview and direct observation method, the number of respondents was 54 people, 31 farmers, 10 collectors and 13 retailers. Determination of cayenne pepper farmers, collectors and retailers who are respondents using the snowball sampling method. The results showed that the marketing channel of cayenne pepper in the sub-district of Singa Geweh, South Sangatta District, had two marketing channels, namely marketing channels for level II and III. Level II marketing costs Rp.742/Kg and level III Rp.2.006/Kg, margin level II Rp.5000 and level III Rp.15.000. Profit level II Rp.4.258/Kg and level III Rp.12.726/Kg. Level II farmer share is 92.31% and level III is 76.92%. Level II marketing efficiency is 9,13% and level III is 31,47%. Keywords: cayenne pepper, channels, marketing, efisiensi pemasaran
